SAY NO TO RACISM AND DISCRIMINATION
Why is racism common among white? Why do they discriminate the
most? Is God white or black? Is there anything special in being white or black
or red?
Let us join the online initiatives to raise awareness of the
battle against prejudice, ignorance and intolerance within the world. It is
something that is even in football where a banana was thrown at a player (Dani
Alves) while a game was on in Spain {Villareal vs. Barcelona} but to his
credit, Alves responded in the best way possible by picking up the banana and
eating it inside the field.
“We are all equal, we are all monkeys, say no to racism” wrote by
Neymar Da Silva jnr.(fellow teammate of Dani Alves@fcbarcelona) on his social
media site instagram to express his disgust at what had happened. He
accompanied it with a hashtag #weareallmonkeys.
It’s a shame that there’s such prejudice in this modern age. It is
time for people to raise their voices against this ludicrous action.
