Visions are set for appointed times, not all seasons visions has the edge over, if you are a "young man" like the bible says would see vision but yet to discover one then you need to. No youth in this dispensation is permitted to go without a vision.
Dan 1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
Daniel was a young man that had a clue of what God expects from him and it resulted in his vision that carried him.
note: Daniel discovered purpose that he was to stand out amongst the others and in that purpose he got his vision that he would become a solution to so many hence leading men God, and that further prompted his mission. His mission was the strategy he would use to accomplish his vision relating with his purpose.... #learntoday
According to that text, his mission gotten from his vision relating with his purpose was his motivation. The reason a man would fail or deter in serving God is as a result of lack of revelation of the Lord that should begat him purpose producing his vision that contains missions that should bring him to his destination.

Back to the start, if you are young drive a vision whether yours or someone else's, most times in the cause of pursuing others' visions, yours becomes clearer and emerges. Don't ever disregard another
man's vision because you feel you have yours to pursue, that would be bad, when John the Baptist's disciples told him Jesus has started his own baptism, John said "that he may increase and I decrease," this is for his Glory alone. I have always loved visions of others, I am the most committed individual you would ever meet, as long as the Lord gave me a go ahead I will be there, today I have people going about the Vision the Lord placed in my hands, pastor's, doctors, musicians, sponsors, as well as family and friends too.
Purpose is achieved when visions are created and mission gives a directive on fulfilling that vision leading to God's predestination.
